Happy holidays you beautiful people. I’ll be on a small hiatus until after Christmas ( since this week has been complete chaos if I dont step back for a couple days from everything I’ll crack ) . But I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday ♡♡♡
“you’d need my address for that. Texts are not working on me at all.” Hyeonyong gave her a small tip how to get him out of home. After all, he’s a home person. He helped her take off her jacket and swung it on near them, repeating the same with his coat. Then he pulled out her chair so she could sit and sat on the other side of the table opening menu right away. “So what are you recommending from here?” He asked eyeing the menu and then looking at the women in front of him.
❛ True.. but then you’d have me knocking on your door whenever I want attention. ❜ She teases , smiling back towards the other before laughing under her breath. She thanks the other for helping her out of her coat before settling into one of the chairs. ❛ You’re quite the gentleman you know… thank you. ❜ She says softly , opening her own menu before looking through it slowly. ❛ The pork plate is very good.. and if you enjoy seafood it’s good as well. ❜
Cecily kicks her way off the wall, sliding her leather jacket over her arms and frame in one smooth movement. She takes the sunglasses perched on the top of her head and lowers them over her eyes, a small smile on her red lips. “Lead the way.” Despite her words she’s the one to start walking, probably heading off in the wrong direction but she didn’t mind. “Did I get your name? Forgive me, I have a horrible memory. I’m Cecily, and I’m about to make your day a thousand times better.”
❛ Wrong way. ❜ He hums , his voice soft and amused as he reaches out to take the woman’s hand and steer here towards the old district. ❛ Cecily hm ? A lovely name for a lovely woman. ❜ He grins softly , fingers sliding from her hand to run through his hair. ❛ Alois at your service. Though I think i’m going to be the one to make your day better. I’ll show you the hidden secrets of the city. ❜ He glances back at her before sliding her hands into his pockets. ❛ Though it might be a bit.. odd to go into the crumbling city limits. But that’s truly where all the fun is. ❜
“besides I rather not have my mind go into a frenzy.” he chuckled, Noah didn’t want to have his mind in the gutter just because she had mention some lollipop. Brows raised he smiled, he’d so anything and go anywhere just as long he could be near her. “What are we waiting for? let’s get going. Just don’t buy the whole entire shop.” He joked, noah knew her love for these things, she treasured items that none would consider valuable. Maybe he’ll pick something out for her to surprise Bea with if given the chance. “What kind of statues?” He asked as he waited for her to get her things – he helped her zip up the coat making sure she was always warm; for a second their eyes locked and everything else became still, framed in time. The inked male didn’t want to make it awkward and lowered his gaze with a crooked, flirty grin. “Let’s go, before I change my mind.” there were moments where he stayed up all night, noah was surprised his eyes didn’t form ugly looking bags underneath them. “Also we should get something to eat as well. I’d kill for a cheeseburger.”
❛ Are you excited to go too ? ❜ She muses softly , watching the way he moved towards her. There was a gentleness in his eyes , one that Bea couldn’t help but admire when their gazes met. ❛ Well… I can’t promise I won’t buy a lot. It’s a good thing I know a strong guy hm ? ❜ She falls silent as she watches his hands , allowing him to zip up her jacket and make sure it shielded her from the cold air outside. ❛ Religious statues.. I’ve had some people requesting them recently. I don’t follow any religious guidelines myself , but i’ll do what I can to help out my customers. ❜ She laughs softly as she tugs a scarf around her neck and slides a hat over her head. Once finished she reached out to take his hand before leading him out and onto the street. ❛ We can make it to the station before the next train. And we can get whatever you want for lunch as well. ❜
Sera was a little late arriving to this crime scene, mainly because she had just finished processing another, so it was natural to see a whole lot of first responders, including some of her direct coworkers from the crime lab, but she didn’t quite like that. One of the main reasons Sera chose a career in forensics rather than follow too closely in her father’s footsteps was, and quite literally, to be able to access a crime scene before anyone else. She preferred developing her own opinion and theories on the matter first before being influenced by others’ impressions. But alas, she wouldn’t be spared such luxury in that night’s incident.
She heard her name just as she finished restocking her kit, and made it past the police tape, “Chaerin?” She hadn’t seen the detective in quite sometime, and despite the morbidness of the circumstances of their meeting, her lips stretched into jovial smile. “I’m a little late. Came straight after dropping the evidence from the previous scene. What have we got here?”
All work and no play, sadly, such was Sera’s nature, especially during working hours.
Since leaving the force Chaerin had still maintained a good relationship with all her coworkers. When cases got out of hand , or hard to handle she would be the first to hear of it. Even now she had been asked to look over the newest crime in Seoul , one that had everyone scratching their heads and wondering where to go next.
When she received a response the smile tugged at the corner of her lips and she nodded faintly in greeting. Sera had always been Chaerin’s favorite to work with when the chance arose. While she hadn’t been able to indulge in the woman’s company since becoming a PI , the new case gave her an opportunity to relive the past. ❛ Professional as always. ❜ The investigator clicked her tongue before turning her attention back to the run down shack before them. 5 body bags lined the front of the home , all set in a precise line as the criminal had left them. It was a puzzle for the ages , and one Chaerin wanted to dive into. ❛ 5 victims. Bodies displayed in perfect order - - redressed , wounds cleaned and closed. While the matter of death isn’t exact at the moment , the corners are saying they were drained of blood. Ritualistic perhaps.. there are signs of the occult inside the house. Also books on witch craft and the sorts.. its quite a case. ❜
